Have you ever looked at a logo and thought, “What the hell were they thinking?!?” Yes, I admit, I am a very big critic especially when it comes to a company’s image because I am in the business of ensuring that they have nothing but the best image to present to the public, so I am really disturbed when people do not take enough time to have the BEST and settle for just “OK”.
I am never alright with just “OK” work, and neither should any of you. Your company is your baby, and I do not think any of you would want your baby crawling around in not so cute clothes or getting not getting the “Awwww!” effect on people.
Just in a similar case, your business has to be the trend setter, dressed up well with a clean and professional branding; it’s how you are going to attract most of your clients… PLUS, there might be a happy dance or two from looking better than the competitor.
Here are a few tips to get it done right;
Get It ALL Together
What do you do? Why should your consumers choose you? Get all the information together so that you can come up with a worthy tag-line that will leave clients wanting to find out more.
Use EXACTLY the same materials everywhere, don’t have the logo brown on the website, green on the company profile and yellow on the brochures, you’ll confuse yourself and everyone else.
Your branding is supposed to be YOUR brand’s image and yours alone, so don’t copy another company, otherwise, you will just be caught in their shadow. Don’t be the one who copies, be the one who gets copied (it’s a compliment!)
Don’t limit yourself in creating your brand’s image, explore all the options you have for your company… it’s like playing dress up and when you find something you think covers the whole perception you are trying to execute, put the finishing touches on it and launch!
Creating an image does not mean that after the launch you are going to be famous, build on it. It took Microsoft years and patience to get to where they are today, so be patient with your branding, don’t keep changing it constantly because you think the first has failed to get the job done after a few weeks in business.
Don’t think that because you have great print branding, you can slack on the Customer Care… NO! Your customer care is going to help you move up the ladder so make sure that your customers are treated as kings and queens each time.
We have the best team to help you get the job done professionally… no kidding!
Let your company have the “WOW!” effect, do it right.
